When I was a child I dreamed of being a doctor or a
pharmacist, I wanted to help people, mainly by researching to create new cures
for diseases. For PSU scoring I wasn't able to enter medicine, therefore, the following year I took the test again. However, I didn't get the
necessary score. Then I choose the carrer that I considered closest to my
ideal, biochemistry. I was five years in the study programme, which were difficult because of high demand and the very competitive environment. Disappointed me. Later I started meeting people from
other study programmes and attending pharmacy classes out of curiosity. I simply fell in
love. Pharmacy It's a beautiful profession, where I feel that I learn a lot more and I can
be more useful to society, attending directly to the people, helping and advising them, I changed study programme as soon as I could. Currently I'm very happy, I've improved
significantly the grades and also I've been able to meet people very
pleasant and committed with the profession.
As I mentioned, I studied Biochemistry and changed my career two years ago, just when the new mesh began. Therefore, I had already taken English from the old mesh. There were two courses focused on scientific reading and writing. Unfortunately those courses were not comparable with the new mesh. Therefore, I had to give almost all the courses of the new mesh. The classes for me have been a bit boring because I have a good writing and reading skills. Also of the pronunciation because I have learned watching videos and movies. I am very used to reading and writing in English because I have read many scientific texts (papers) at the university. The first time I started blogging (for English 3) it was fun. It was a new experience that helped me to polish my writing skills and dare to write what I think. Nowadays it does not seem so fun anymore. The themes have been repeated and some are really boring.
