About my blogging experience :D

I really do not like writing. This is the first time I blog, because I do not like to publish about myself. I am quite reserved with my private life. In fact, I have a Facebook, but I use it more to read manga in reading manga  groups than to post something. I usually only write reports, so this experience has helped me to learn to state myself better through writing. I think I have improved my writing skills in both English and Spanish. English is something common in my life, because it is the standard language of scientific publications. I have been in university for several years so I am quite accustomed to reading and writing science. Therefore, his knowledge in essential, especially at the time of reading anime/manga. Because is better and faster to read the manga in English than to expect its translation into Spanish. In the future, it would be interesting to include blogs about scientific divulgation. It would be very useful to make science known to people who do ...

About my plannes for holidays :D

The truth, due to the excessive academic charge and irrational demands of teachers I do not feel like going on vacation. Fourth-year subjects are very demanding. I'm only interested in resting and trying to replenish my energies for another stressful semester. Besides, I do not have money to leave Santiago. However, this holiday will be the second anniversary of the relationship between my boyfriend and me. So let's celebrate it big time. We will go out to eat at Johnny Rockets and watch a movie (Despicable Me 3). Just that day is also the premiere of the seventh season of GOT, so we will be all holiday watching it and eating a lot of snacks. We are eager to see Jamie having a just with Drogon. I will spend my holidays with him. We will sleep and watch many series. We will also make a cake for The Mom (my mother-in-law) because we love her very much. If I'm not too tired I hope to be able to advance my art project, which consists of making many colored origami butterflies ...

About my favorite subject this semester :D

Currently my favorite subject is Pharmaceutical Technology. It's a theoretical-practical subject related to professional training in the activities carried out in the pharmaceutical industry for the formulation, design, manufacture, evaluation and control of pharmaceutical forms. The basic principles of the manufacture of solid, liquid and semisolid forms are discussed. In classes are exposed the different activities that are developed in the pharmaceutical industry and master recipe book. The processes of elaboration and the quality controls necessary for its approval and later to the market. Later in the same week in the laboratory where we apply the knowledge learned and we elaborate diverse pharmaceutical forms (solid, liquid, semisolid). The laboratory work is evaluated with a control and a report. In addition seminars are held where doubts of practical work are discussed because the last week of class there is a last practical test where it is asked to manufacture a random p...

About a career-related website :D

Usually in our career we must carry out research on specific compounds and write scientific reports. PubChem is a dynamically growing database of chemical molecules and their activities against biological assays. The system is maintained by the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), a component of the National Library of Medicine, which is part of the United States National Institutes of Health (NIH). PubChem can be accessed for free through a web user interface in: https://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/ PubChem contains three primary databases: Compounds, Substances and BioAssay.  Searching the databases is possible for a broad range of properties such as chemical structure, number of fragments, chemical formula, molecular weight, XLogP and the number of hydrogen bonds donors and acceptors. Each result contains information on synonyms, chemical properties, bioactivity and links to structurally related compounds, as well as links to other NCBI databases, such...
